My Myth of the Solopreneur

My Myth of the Solopreneur

Here’s how Dean Jackson’s VCR formula helped me grow a six-figure agency in just a few years (and can help YOU do the same).

I used to think I had to do everything:

> sales

> web design

> offer creation

> customer service

> finances

But that’s not true.

You just need to build a team of people (each with their unique talents and perspectives). And that’s where the 3-part VCR formula comes in.

Here’s how it works:

(V)ision

This is the person who generates the ideas.

They create a vision for what products and services to offer (which is usually the entrepreneur’s job).

But what they don’t always have?

(C)apability

This could be:

knowing how to build the product/service

knowing how to create engaging YouTube content

or just having enough time to get things done

If you don’t have these things…

You have to find somebody else who can do it.

So now you have the vision and the offer. But what’s the last piece?

(R)each

In other words - attention.

If you’re not someone who can generate quality attention for your business… you need to partner with someone who can.

Maybe it’s someone who has a successful:

YouTube channel

podcast

Website

Now you’re able to grow.

Remember:

You don’t need to do everything as an entrepreneur.

I couldn’t have built a six-figure business alone. It was because of the people I partnered with that we could reach that level.

So try and figure out which one you are:

Is it the vision?

Is it the capability?

Is it the reach?

And then go through your network to find someone who can fill in the gaps.

P.S. Are you someone with a VISION but lack the CAPABILITY and REACH to create content that generates leads? The Notion Creator Hub can help you do that (at least it did for me).

My mentor told me to read more books

My mentor told me to read more books

Turns out he was right.

For every single problem you could ever face there’s a book that can completely change your life.

Feeling stuck?

There’s a book for that.

Your content sucks?

There’s a book for that.

Just need an escape?

There’s a book for that.

And the crazy part?

They only cost $10-20

They don’t take long to read

They’re written by the SAME people who charge (tens of) thousands of dollars for their 1-on-1 coaching

But I didn’t realize?

Books alone can’t change your life. After all… they’re just words on paper.

Impact is about implementation.

So if you’re interested… here’s my simple process to get more out of books (so you can finally achieve any goal you want):

How to hack your happiness?

How to hack your happiness?

Pssst!

Your brain quietly whispers:

“It’s not enough yet.”

Can you hear it?

So you keep eating. You keep scrolling Instagram. You keep trying to make more money (even though you already have enough).

You can’t resist.

And the crazy part…

It’s not actually your fault.

Our brains are HARD-WIRED to want more. Which means when we inevitably fail to reach the goalpost… we feel like a loser.

And it’s killing your happiness.

So the question is:

How can you get rid of this “always wanting more” mentality so you can finally be happy about the things you already have?

Here’s what’s helped me:

Gratitude journaling.

Now I’ll be honest… I was a bit skeptical (maybe you are too). Can simply writing down a few GOOD things every day really work? Can it actually make you happier?

At first it was a struggle.

I’d write down the SAME generic things:

> family

> food

> a house

Every day.

Over and over.

But naturally… I eventually got better.

I started noticing the little things. Like when someone gave me a compliment at work. Or even the little conversations I have with my wife.

And it felt good!

So if you’re ever feeling unhappy about life… try pulling out a notebook and writing down THREE good things.

It worked for me.

And I think it’ll work for you too.

Let me know how it goes.

P.S. Did you know personal story-based content has some of the HIGHEST conversion rates? But the problem… these stories aren’t always easy to keep track of.

My Notion Creator Hub helps with that.

Run Forrest! Run!

Ever heard of "monk mode"?

They say it's supposed to make you more productive. More successful. Maybe even more enlightened.

And if you're like most people…

It probably sounds pretty convincing. You put your head down for an extended period of time and work towards your biggest goals.

Simple, right?

Maybe.

But it won’t solve all your problems. And that’s where the “Forrest Gump Mindset” comes in.

If you want to embrace the NEW monk mode so you can finally crush your business & life goals this year (by eliminating self-doubt)...

You might want to check this video out:

If it worked for me it can work for you.

P.S. The Notion Creator Hub is still only $10.

Cha-ching!

Cha-ching!

According to Exposed Magazine, the average slot machine earns $219 every day (or $79,935 per year). And that’s just ONE machine.

But slot machines didn’t ALWAYS make billions.

Here’s how it used to be:

You bring $10 to a slot machine and play for a few minutes. You lose. You lose again. And you lose again (until your money goes to $0).

Are you gonna keep playing?

Probably not.

But then in the 1980s something happened. Casinos got smarter. Rigging your psychology against you. Now instead of losing almost every time…

People started WINNING a little bit.

20 cents.

30 cents.

Even though you never fully make your money back… you’re constantly wondering “What if NEXT time I hit the jackpot?”

Life is no different.

You see an opportunity to get more stuff (money, fame, food, etc) and you instantly decide to pursue it.

But here’s the thing:

This “slot machine mentality” is only taking away from your happiness. More stuff won’t make you as happy as you think.

It’s not wrong to pursue more…

Just don’t base your happiness on it.

Remember that.

P.S. The Notion Creator Hub is still only $10.
