Getting Out There To Know What Is Possible

Sometimes we need to get out of our comfort zone and get exposure to see what is possible on our path. So many people are stuck in their job because they got a degree that got them a job, and they built their whole life on that job, how much money they make, what they do, the vacations they get, and where they live.

Building your own path to freedom starts by figuring out what you want and doing the thing that produces what you want. Keith shares that he started from the bottom and built his own path in entrepreneurship. He had a great career that made him the big bucks, but he felt like something was missing. After reaching out for help, he was able to identify what gave him pure joy and turn it into a business.

According to him, when you figure out what you want, a life bomb goes off in you, creating light from within. We always have a better answer inside of us for everything in life. Our future, our purpose, and the answers we’re seeking are not outside or ahead of us. They are within us

Uncover And Create Your Own System

The people who write the guides and books you read came up with their own system, which is why they work for them and not you. Be the person who comes up with their own answers and systems, and if you want to write about it, do it but don’t buy other people's systems.

Uncovering where you want to go starts with identifying what is important to you. Figuring out what you want to do in life. What are your values? What lights you up? The kind of life you want to model for your kids. What will get you out of bed even when you’re not making money? What will you fight so hard for that you will refuse to give up? And what will you walk through walls for the people you serve and the lifestyle you create? Going out and doing the things you are passionate about is what will make you fulfilled. When you uncover it, you lose the hell out and are on automation.

Doing The Inner Transformation Work

We are the block to our success, the resistance toward our progress, and the problem on our path, and doing the inner work will help us address the true issue. You cannot have a successful solopreneur business if you don’t have your inner game right.

Working on your inner transformation will help you overcome resistance, manage your attachments, manage the anchors holding you down, raise your vibrations, and take aligned action. It will also help you leave your past and excuses behind, open up to opportunities, and scale up to the next level.

You don’t need to change your business, you need to get you right, and your business will take off. Getting you right is all about ensuring you are spiritually sound, know how to detach from the outcome, and show up in your path authentically.

Tip: Working on your inner transformation is not easy, but it’s worth it because you will learn more about yourself and grow.

How To Move From Corporate To Entrepreneurship

Most people who want to move from corporate to entrepreneurship need to do it slowly. Financial responsibilities are real, especially when we have a mortgage to pay, a family to support, car payments, and bills to pay. According to Keith, building up when you tail off can work well for you if you have significant financial responsibilities.

However, this does not mean your entrepreneurial path will be smooth, and you’re not going to hit points of great tension where you will need to make tough decisions. Having a checklist of what you need to achieve before you resign will help you make the right decisions. The tension of whether to jump into business or stay in your job will always be there but knowing that everything is checked, you have things in place, a product to sell, and a financial runway gives you the confidence to do it.

Remember, building a side hustle and exiting your job does not absorb you from challenges, your business not growing, and other things that happen to businesses. You must be committed to meeting your customer's needs and your business's success to thrive.

Tip: When you focus on money, things fall apart. Shifting from chasing revenue to aligning with your higher calling brings results. Once you get the alignment, the money will come, not first.
