Stop Wasting Your Time

There’s a common misconception that video editing is more important than scripting. But the truth is:

Your IDEAS make a video blow up. The editing only amplifies what you said.

And that’s why the inspiration is key. 

In a previous YouTube video I talked about Rick Rubin’s new book, The Creative Act: A Way of Being. And in the book he talks about the idea of pulling inspiration from everywhere.

Whenever you have an idea… 

write it down.

Put it in Notion or Apple notes.

The more disciplined you are about writing your ideas down (and continually refining them), the better your videos will be.

Remember:

Editing only amplifies.

Your IDEAS are what make your videos great.
